Applying for a Highland rental property is quick and easy! You can even do it from your smartphone. Our leasing team is ready to help you through the process and secure your perfect home. 


Before starting your application, please review our standard qualifications below:

Is your credit score 650 or higher?

  • How do I apply?

    Click on the “Availability” tab in the menu, search for the property you're interested in, and then simply click "Apply Now".  It's that easy!

  • What is your application fee?

    • $75
    • Each person 18 and older residing in the property will need to fill out a seperate application. 
    • A group of tenants wishing to live together cannot be approved for a property until all applications have been submitted.
    • This money helps pay the third-party vendor for your credit and background check.
    • If your application is denied as we have NOT screened your app, then we will gladly refund your $75 app fee.  
    • Highland does not charge Admin Fees in addition to your application fee.  

  • I’m ready to apply! What do I need?

    As part of the application process, you will need upload a copy of your driver's license OR government issued ID, such as a passport or military ID.  Additionally, you will need to upload copies of your most recent paystubs; two minimum. 

  • I’m filling out the application. Do I enter my income before taxes (gross) or after taxes (net)?

    Enter your GROSS income (before taxes) on your application.  Also, please list any additional income revenue streams, such as a second part-time job, under “Additional Income”. 

  • I’m going to have roommates. How does that affect the application process?

    Each roommate will need to fill out a separate application.  When filling out YOUR application, the form will ask you, “Who are you applying with?”  Please enter the full name of each roommate that will be applying.

  • What is your pet policy? Do I need to list my pets on the application?

    Yes, please enter your pet’s information why applying for a property.  The application will ask you their name, breed, age and weight.  Please click HERE to view our full pet policy.
