Highland’s founder and Broker in Charge, Will Spence, has worked in the property management industry for over 15 years, and has developed a team that specializes in both single-family and multi-family investments. Over the years, Will has enjoyed the benefit of working for a family-owned real estate business growing its portfolio from the ground up, as well as working on a corporate level managing hundreds of units across the East Coast. No matter the size of your portfolio, this perspective and experience has given Will the ability to meet you where you are and help you achieve your goals.
Will has always admired the philosophy of Henry Ford’s assembly line, and believes that in order to successfully manage a property we need to approach it from a team perspective. We believe that each team member comes with their own strengths and weaknesses, and by respecting this truth we organize Highland’s “assembly line” in order to best manage your assets. This business model stabilizes and develops a property from start to finish, and produces efficiency and responsiveness which creates a happier tenant, and produces a greater yield and ROI which creates a happier owner.
Highland dares to be a company that builds up its employees, helps them grow in their careers and in their aspirations; a company that fosters their potential and celebrates their achievements.
Through this empowerment and celebration, we envision a management company that provides its clients with a staff that is not only intelligent and hardworking, but shows up each day with honesty, integrity, kindness, and humility. We believe in serving without ego, always fighting for the greater good, valuing relationships over money, and embracing the fundamental philosophy, “Treat others how you wish to be treated.”
